An opportunity to enjoy the exhibition without throngs of people. This exhibition includes highlights from the Glasgow Boys exhibition at Kelvingrove as well as further loans from private collections. The Glasgow Boys have not been exhibited as a group since the Fine Art Society exhibition in
Glasgow
in 1968. Entitled “Pioneering Painters” it focuses on their most prolific period of work during the 1880s. A time when they produced new ideas that were to influence future generations of artists.
